It comes as no surprise when Col Ray and his band the Scary Cats are mentioned conversations last for hours on the incredible influences this band has on others.

Not just a blues outfit these boys can swing and shuffle and mix in some rock genres along the way.

Col Ray and the Scary Cats have been touring for, what seems to be, an eternity. Most recently seen at the Newcastle Blues Festival this back to basis style has had audiences enthralled and captured by their unique musicianship and vocal delivery.

A devilish slide guitar mixing with a tight rhythm section and harmonica bends like you’ve never heard before have given this act a unique sound and when the vocals kick in it just becomes pure listening heaven or...dancing!!
